Past Events
Since 2007, the Women’s Initiative Committee has proudly celebrated the strength, creativity, and impact of women in our community.
Each event, from Vegas and 27 Dresses to Hollywood, Mardi Gras, the 50s, Island Adventure, Cirque de la Nuit, and Magic Hat, reflects the energy and passion of the women who made it possible. Thanks to the incredible support of our attendees, volunteers, and sponsors, we have welcomed 4,642 guests, awarded 57 scholarships totaling $31,800, supported local businesses with $183,298 in spending, and recognized 78 inspiring Women to Watch. This page is a heartfelt thank you to every woman who has joined us, supported us, and helped shape these unforgettable years of connection and empowerment.
2025
With the feeling we just needed to “get away from it all” , the committee selected “Cruis’n the Caribbean” as our 2025 theme. The guests boarded our “cruise ship” for a fun and festive night complete with sail away photos, white nautical lights and the very popular strawberry daiquiris (both mocktail and cocktail)! The committee were dubbed “the crew” for the night and wore sailor dresses which set the tone as we welcomed guests in their amazing selection of “cruise wear” outfits. The food, flowers, new raffle table and live island-themed music for the dance made for a super fun and super relaxed night!
2024
After the many interruptions to life in this decade, it was great to be able to start fresh on a theme and Hollywood was selected for 2024! The high-end sports cars parked out front of the PERC set the tone for the evening and the guests, arriving in their fancy attire, did not disappoint! Complete with our own “Oscars”, the Women-to-Watch Walk of Fame, the Scholarship Winners Wall of Fame, combined with the food, flowers and décor all made for an eye-popping event! The Moore Band played live music from Hollywood blockbuster movies which ended this unforgettable evening on a “high note”!
2023
After COVID put a pause on what was supposed to be our 2020 “Back in the 50’s Tonight” theme it was extra special to finally be able to all come together in person in 2023 and “travel back” to that decade! The photos exude the energy that was in the room that night and the 50’s inspired outfits were simply outstanding! No longer would the guests, who attend this event regularly, ever take it for granted…let the fun resume!!
