Students who are enrolled in a Canadian post-secondary institution (college or university) should provide proof of enrollment to the Avon Maitland Board of Education Office in order to collect their scholarship.
For those students, who choose to further their education or career by means other than attending a recognized Canadian post-secondary institution, (e.g. apprenticeship, starting their own business, taking full time jobs, joining the military, etc.) they can access their scholarship funds by forwarding to the Avon Maitland Board of Education Office;
Receipts for tools required for employment (Including tools required for apprenticeship programs)
Receipts for continuing education training required for employment (e.g. Smart Serve program, computer training, WHIMIS training, safe food handing program, etc.)
Receipts for uniforms (e.g. work boots, safety clothing, etc.)
Confirmation from their employer that training has been provided/received.
Receipts for travel costs associated with training provided by employers
